Thought, Reflection blends both the past and the present together to share one aspect of my family genealogy which is the Native American side. Notice some of the traditional Native American tools and clothing, while the modernist clothing is also apparent. 

Also notice how the self portrait has her eyes closed amidst a setting sun sky, with clouds that look more like bubbles of some kind, a symbol often associated with the process of thought.
