[About]

Formerly known as repose, the piece Cactus was rendered during a difficult time in the artist's life. Having recently lost her grandmother, the iconic irony of returning to campus near the end of the semester, and having to produce this dead subject matter during "dead week" (finals week), proved to be a test of perseverance for Tiffany. Much sleep sacrificed, and countless, long days and nights became her short termed 'norm', as Tiffany focused on making the cactus realistic and alive as much as possible. Her drive and attention to detail paved the way to Cactus being her best work of the whole year.

The ability to rest after all was said and done only heightened the state of repose.
